  • Ageing

With use, the leather surface becomes smoother and gradually develops a natural sheen. As a semi-aniline finish that retains the character of leather, the coated surface is more susceptible to scratches. Over time, the urethane coating may deteriorate with prolonged use, which can lead to cracking.

  • How to Care

    【Pigmented Leather】
As the surface is protected by a urethane coating, routine care is simple—light dusting with a dry cloth once a week is usually sufficient. If marks from handling appear, wipe the surface with a towel dampened with lukewarm water. Afterwards, wipe it again with a dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture.

    【Regarding Leather Creams】
Because the leather is protected by a surface coating, maintenance products such as creams will not be absorbed. Depending on the type, some creams may be incompatible and could potentially damage the coating. Therefore, as a general rule, please refrain from using them. The same applies to cleaners. Certain cleaners may contain solvents or abrasives; while they may make the surface appear clean, they can damage the coating and reduce its durability. For this reason, their use is not recommended.
