About our leather: quality leather is only lightly processed and retains the scars and blemishes of the original hide. Quality leather also matures as you use it. Also, we usually retain the "grain" of the leather - a strong layer of fibers within leather that increases the durability of the leather we use.

私、ソファでリラックスすることが好きなんです
「仕事と家事を終えて、ソファで寝落ちするのが至福の一時」なので、寝心地よいソファを探していると相談されました。
そう言われてみると、自分自身もそうだなと思いました。
そうして、座り心地より寝心地というソファを作ることになったのがきっかけです。 -
常識を否定する
普通のソファでは、座った時に腰を支えるような奥行きで設計します。
また、座面には角度を付けて、座った時に滑り出ないようにします。
しかし、今回は「寝心地」を重視するため、座ると届かないほど遠くにある背もたれと、水平な座面の角度です。
もはやソファというよりもベッドです。 -
実際の暮らしで使われるソファを
こうして生まれたソファは、期待以上の好評を得ることができました。
昔のように応接間で大切な来客をもてなすことは、今ではほとんど無くなり、家族が一緒にリラックスできる時間を過ごすソファが仕上がりました。 -
時代に合わせてソファも変わる
LIFEというモデル名で、商品化され数年が経ちました。
時代に合わせて、寸法やクッション性を見直しました。
そうしてさらにブラッシュアップされ、現在のモデルLIBERTAが生まれました。
